Brighton based Ska band, Town Of Cats, put a remix request out. As we're fellow Brightonians and big fans of Ska music, we answered that call. We've taken Climbing Trees, their ode to nostalgia and youth and given it a suitably late 80s/early 90s twist, taking influence from Hip Hop of that era. We've slowed it down, used lots of Roland 909 drum machine samples and Yamaha FM synth tones. We've also caked this mix in tape machine saturation and given it a beaten up sound. We hope you like it.
